  • Wesley Eustis - Principal/Owner

    Mr. Eustis has over 20 years of experience in Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, and Project Management. Mr. Eustis oversees all aspects of the Civil and Land Surveying departments at Basin Engineering & Surveying and has extensive experience providing civil site design, roadway design, and drainage design for various clients, both public and private, across the South.

  • Daniel Bobeck - Principal/Owner

    Mr. Bobeck has over 17 years of comprehensive experience providing Structural Engineering design and project management for a wide range of public and private clients. Mr. Bobeck oversees all aspects of the Structural department at Basin Engineering & Surveying. He specializes in concrete, steel, and timber projects. Mr. Bobeck has provided design and project management for wharves, bridges, flood control structures, buildings, near shore oil and gas platforms, and custom precast concrete structures for various LNG facilities across the South.

  • Connor Glennon - Project Engineer

    Connor has over 6 years of experience in civil engineering and land surveying. He has specialized in civil site developments and drainage projects for projects of all sizes through the southeast region. In addition to his engineering experience, he has experience in surveying for both field and office work. He leads to surveying scheduling for the office.

  • Jedidiah Hellmich - Project Engineer

    Mr. Hellmich is a Registered Professional Civil Engineer and Certified Professional Traffic Operation Engineer with 16 years of engineering experience. He has extensive experience as a design engineer and project/construction manager performing engineering and project/construction management duties on a variety of municipal, commercial, and industrial projects.

  • Jonathan Catanzano - Project Engineer

    Mr. Catanzano has over 12 years of experience in Civil Engineering and Construction Management. Mr. Catanzano’s primary focus at Basin Engineering & Surveying is civil site design and infrastructure improvements for both the private and public sectors.

  • Payton McNeil - Project Engineer

    Mr. McNeil has performed quality control inspections for a variety of civil and structural projects. He provides visual structural assessments of building and bridge structures and transmits information to the senior engineers. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and will soon be eligible for his P.E.

  • Michael Carter - Senior Consultant

    Mr. Carter has been practicing engineering for 49 years. Formerly the president of Perrin & Carter, he is now a senior consultant for Basin. Mr. Carter brings a broad range of experience for a variety of civil, structural, and architectural project types to the firm. Chances are if you have lived in the New Orleans metro area you have been in a building structure or driven over a bridge that Mr. Carter designed. His designs include: office buildings, schools, medical facilities, hospital additions, courthouses, industrial buildings, shopping centers, parking structures, food processing plants, commissaries, funeral homes, libraries, pavilions, theaters, stadium repairs, service stations, offshore structures, towers, dams, pumping stations, wastewater treatment plants, bridges, box culverts, earth retaining structures, force mains, roadways, parks and parking lots.

  • Kirk Henry - Project Engineer

    Mr. Henry has a broad base of structural design experience in municipal, industrial, and commercial sectors of building construction. He has performed engineering calculations including analysis and design of structures composed of steel, concrete, masonry, cold-formed steel, and heavy timber. He is well experienced in the design of all foundation types such as pile and drilled shaft foundations and earth bearing foundations. Mr. Henry received an ACI Merit Award for the structural design of the 3-story concrete structure for the Port of Louisiana Administration Building.

  • Parker Poche - Engineer Intern

    Parker is a newly minted Engineering Intern, graduating from the University of New Orleans in 2023. Parker has worked on both Civil and Structural projects, including civil site design, drainage design, and precast concrete structures.

  • Alicia Martinez - Project Engineer

    Mrs. Martinez has over 20 years of experience in Civil Engineering and Project Management and is a member of our civil site design team. She has extensive experience providing civil site design, water distribution system design, and water treatment. She has provided project management for water distribution system construction, wastewater collection construction, and roadway construction for federally funded projects. She is currently licensed in 8 states and has worked on civil site design projects all across the South.

  • Wes Ryland - Engineer Intern

    Mr. Ryland is a first year Engineering Intern. Since joining Basin, Mr. Ryland has been involved in various aspects of Civil Site Design and Drainage Design.

  • Edward Jurczak - Design Engineer

    Edward Jurczak has 2 years of experience in Civil Engineering.  He has specialized in Geotech as well as Civil Site design for water and sanitary sewer systems for residential communities.  He currently works on the Civil Design team.

  • Aleph Kennedy - Draftsman

    Mr. Kennedy has been a Civil Drafter for over ten years. He has a strong background in Computer Aided Design, which is required in various aspects of a project, including site plans, survey data processing, conceptual plans, and grading.

  • Brennan Knepper - Surveyor

    Mr. Knepper has been surveying with Basin engineering for two years. While he is new to the industry, he has amassed an assortment of skills that allow him to excel in his position.

  • Joel Meariman - Controller

    Mr. Meariman has over 25 years as a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA).  He handles all financial aspects for Basin Engineering including financial statements, payroll, 401K, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
